    This aviation GPS is a real collector’s item!
    I used this device when I flew traffic reporting in the Bay Area. (I flew the plane; a journalist did the reporting.) It comes with slots for 4 AA batteries, which I never used. I always used the cigarette-lighter plug-in in order to minimize the cost. In addition to the cigarette-lighter plug-in, the bundle includes a remote amplifying antenna, which you attach to the top of the windshield for optimum satellite reception, and an assortment of mounting hardware for mounting the device to an airplane yoke or to a window.
